I nipped in to have a sample of their delights in the midst of the 1pm lunch rush. Busy it was but I was still greeted with a warm smile and cheery 'Hey there, what can I get for you?'
Not familiar with the menu I asked what she would recommend and was pointed in the direction of 'Red Dragon Pork'....'14hrs slow roast pulled pork' (ticking boxes in the first sentence is always a good sign!!!) with the option of Main Box (served with brown rice and Martha's Slaw) or served in a wrap.

As its quite an on-the-go establishment it meant that even busy tables were constantly turning over so it didn't take long to find a comfy spot in their fresh-feel canteen style seating area. Customers were mostly 9-5ers on lunch break and it was good to see some diet conscious men amongst a predominantly female clientele.
Right so time to tuck in an see what this 'Red Dragon Pork' is all about...
Smokey slow-roast pork topped with sesame, chilli, ginger and spring onion. I loved the Southern US and Oriental mix of flavours which surprisingly complimented each other.
Martha's Slaw (not the biggest fan) could have been a bit more creamy and maybe had a few more ingredients in the mix, a sprinkling of pepper wouldn't have gone amiss.
The main box certainly did taste fresh and I like that they opted for fibre packed brown rice instead of white rice. Portion wise it was enough to sustain me for lunch but I didn't feel amazingly full. I think an option to get the boxes in two different sizes would be ideal to fill that little gap.
Aside from the main I couldn't resist trying one of their smoothies to wash down my meal C-Moregreen (Spinach, celery, mint, orange and mango to be precise) was my choice.

After the Wizz:
*Refreshingly good and how many of my 5 a day!
As well as the main boxes, flatbread wraps and smoothies they also have a great range of fresh salads (The Noodle Crunch is only 111 calories for all the cal conscious people out there).
The option to add pork, chicken, salmon or falafel allows you to really make these salads you own, try new creations and play with the menu to suit your dietary needs.
Open from 7.30am Monday- Friday and 11am on Saturday they also serve breakfast until 10.30am Hot Rolls (Bacon...well I guess we are in Glasgow), Porridge Pots and Yogurt Pots with the option of adding raisins, almonds, granola and other accompaniments at the breakfast bar.
Overall I really love the passion that Martha's has for giving hungry stomachs a healthy, nutritiously balanced meal. Its emphasis on using the best seasonal Scottish produce and making sure their food is fresh, wholesome and filling is really refreshing to see on the high street.
Their menu is very well priced and most of their main meals are around the £5 mark which make it cheaper than your average greasy spoon or fast food outlet.
Spinach, Protein, Low GI, Superfoods are certainly its buzz words. Martha's one of those restaurant that's makes you feel good for the rest of the day and just what Glasgow needs after all the more calorific temptations :-D
